Marrakech

As Morocco’s premier destination, Marrakech blends the beauty of its ancient medina and bustle of Jamaa el-Fna square with a modern vibe and vibrant nightlife. Fill your souvenir bag with everything from artisan brass work to electronics as you spend hours exploring the alleys around Jamaa el-Fna. Then, enjoy visiting the ornate Bahia Palace or Medrasa Ibn Youssef or one of the city’s famous gardens like Jardin Majorelle. And, don’t leave without experiencing a cleansing and relaxing hamam.

Chefchaouen

Set above a gorgeous valley and surrounded by the stunning Rif mountains, picturesque Chefchaouen often takes visitors by surprise with its beauty. Its medina boasts blue houses and unique artisan doorways which makes every turn a photographer’s dream. Much of the town was created by Andalusian refugees, and reminders of Spain are everywhere in its cobblestone streets. Chefchaouen has a bohemian ambiance and is a wonderful place to slow down, enjoy delicious food, and take lots of photos.

Merzouga, Sahara

Often the highlight of our guests’ visits, a trip to the Sahara is a must. With Merzouga as the jumping off point, we’ll explore a sea of sand with towering dunes, some as high as 500 feet, and captivating, shifting valleys. Between a camel ride to our desert camp, striking sunsets overlooking majestic dunes, and incredible night skies,  you’ll feel like you stepped out of reality and onto a movie set.
 

Fes

Fascinating  and ancient, Fes is the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco.  Made up of over 10,000 streets and alleyways, the medina today has changed very little in the last several hundred years. Step back in time with us and experience the vibrant markets and people that have continued to make Fes a crossroads for culture, shopping, and the arts. Our visits to Fes typically include a tour of Madrasa Bou Inania, Palais Jamai, and Chouara Tannery.

9 locations in 12 days does seem like a lot of ground to cover. But if you want to have an immersive experience and see as much as possible – trust me – this is the trip/tour to do it with. The times spent on the road were well paced and almost unnoticeable. Each stop felt like a cultural immersion. Lots of stories about the old and new. Visits to historic locations and beautiful one-of-a-kind nature. The people were warm and the food delicious.

Thanks to Mohamed, I came to experience the richness and variety of Morocco and came to love interacting with the people that Mo introduced us to. It was my favourite tour of 2023. Mo excels because he is a gregarious fellow, he seems to know everyone in Morocco and also took great care to get to know his tour group individually and cater for any individual needs, all with a smile.

Moha was an amazing tour guide. Every question was answered and he made out whole group feel super safe, comfortable and welcome. We really appreciated him as a tour guide and I don't think we could've have has such a great tour without him.

I traveled with Mohamed Ourhou on a tour all around Morocco, and it was the experience of a lifetime! He is a fountain of knowledgeable, knows everyone (so we were treated with special attention), and did everything to make our tour comfortable and truly memorable! Ours was a small group of 'seniors,' and he accommodated us with the same expertise and ease that he did for an adventure documented in the great book, Stumbling Over Eden by Steve Bonham. He added activities based on our interests, was endlessly engaging and ensured our safety at all times. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

An absolutely amazing trip with Mohammed. A very knowledgeable guide who knows what he is talking about. He is absolutely detailed with his delivery of explanations and always takes you to the exciting spots. He is always approachable and always ready to have a chat if need be. Food was excellent throughout the trip, making me crave it as we speak. I would highly recommend this trip if ever you are going to Morocco.
