Theater director Jeanine (Amanda Seyfried) is tasked with re-staging her former mentor’s most famous work, the opera “Salome.” Haunted by dark and disturbing memories of her past, Jeanine lets her repressed trauma color the present as she returns to the world of opera after so many years away.
